Consumers should discard product or return for refund. Customers who have purchased the affected Smoked Norwegian Salmon Slices with lot number 412 are advised not to consume the product. They should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement. June 11, 2024 from the COR Canada and Marvid Poultry: Marvid Poultry will no longer sell raw, un-kashered liver because consumers have purchased the unkashered liver and served it without kashering.
Editor's Food. Safety Alert: Consumers need to be aware that the kashered liver is not cooked, and must be cooked before consuming to prevent illness. In 2011 "there were quite a few cases of due to Salmonella bacteria-related illness in New York City that are linked to eating MealMart brand kosher broiled chicken livers from the Schreiber Processing Corporation that were not cooked. "Rise Baking Company, doing business as South Coast Baking, of Springdale, AR, is recalling Costco Chocolate Chunk Frozen Cookie Dough, Member’s Mark Chocolate Chunk, Panera Chocolate Chipper Cookie, Rise Baking Jumbo Chocolate Chunk and Mini Chocolate Chip Cookie cookie doughs because of potential Salmonella contamination.
"These products are part of Rise Baking Company’s May 2, 2024 recall of 29,019 cases of cookie dough products.
"According to the details posted online by the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA), the recall was initiated on May 2, 2024, and is ongoing.
"The recalled products were distributed in California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Colorado, Louisiana, Texas, Missouri, Minnesota, Oklahoma, New York, Michigan, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey and Georgia.
Recalled products:
"Consumers should not use this product. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to their place of purchase."
