January 13, 2020 from the OU confirming a posting on Facebook:
Kirkland Chocolate Chips in the white pouch which is being phased out is DE. New Kirkland Chocolate Chips in the red pouch contain milk fat and are dairy.
July 26, 2023 - From the COR Detroit with additional information from the OU::
S. ROSEN'S DELI STYLE BRIOCHE BUNS (sold at Costco) bears an ink-jetted symbol similar to an OU next to the Best If Used By date. This product is in fact OU certified (and Pas Yisroel - glow-plug method).
July 28, 2023 From the OU: It is indeed OU certified. As per OU policy, this is NOT Pas Yisroel, though there are other agencies that do indeed consider this Pas Yisroel.

STAR-K recommends checking ALL figs, even those bearing a reliable certification.
TO PROPERLY CHECK FIGS: open each fig and carefully inspect the interior for any insects like wasps, beetles or worms. If any are found, discard the entire fruit.

Packages of Sunny Fruit Organic Figs, commonly sold at Costco, bearing a STAR-K symbol, have been found to have a high rate of infestation. Corrective action is being taken.
STAR-K recommends checking all figs, even those bearing a reliable certification.
TO PROPERLY CHECK FIGS: open each fig and carefully inspect the interior for any insects like wasps, beetles or worms. If any are found, discard the entire fruit.

Blue Diamond Almond Breeze is labeled OUD, but in fact, its true status, at the present time, is DE (Dairy Equipment).
What does DE mean? Parve products made with heat on dairy equipment may be eaten after meat, but not with meat. Some kashrus agencies use a DE symbol, but the OU has chosen not to use a DE designation because it is felt it may be confusing to the kosher consumer. Also, to be a true DE product, the equipment must be properly cleaned of residue after dairy production, and that level of cleanliness is sometimes difficult to maintain and guarantee.
Please note that it is possible that the manufacturer will reformulate this product and add a true dairy ingredient. You will not be able to know this, since the OUD kosher symbol will remain the same. We recommend that you call our office every 3 months to reconfirm the DE status of this product.
Ed. note: There is a shelf-stable version of this product that is OU pareve.

THE CHODOSH SEASON is fast approaching for Oats, Spring Wheat and Barley. Chodosh Oats may be on the market in the beginning of August, and Spring Wheat and Barley shortly thereafter. Those who want to purchase Yoshon items to store over the Chodosh season should do so now. Please note that all grain and flour products that will be stored should be refrigerated to avoid insect infestation.

"We have been alerted by our supplier of Trader Joe’s Almond Windmill Cookies (SKU# 98744) and Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies (SKU# 82752) that product with the below SELL BY date codes may contain rocks:
"All potentially affected product has been removed from sale and destroyed.
"If you purchased or received any donations of Almond Windmill Cookies nd/or Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies, please do not eat them. We urge you to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
