BEER CHOLENT from Cantor Joel Kessler
ingredients
1 pound of cholent beans soaked overnight
1 pound of stew beef
4 potatoes
1 large onion
1 Tbs minced garlic
1/2 pound of Pastrami
1 kishka cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
1 can of beer
salt and pepper to taste
water to cover
directions
Place all ingredients into a four quart crock pot and let cook overnight.
