The purpose of this announcement is to advise you that Fullei Fresh is voluntarily recalling Bean Sprouts and Soy Sprouts as a precaution due to possible exposure to listeria monocytogenes. Affected lots are numbered consecutively between 251 and 271. They were harvested and shipped to distributors between September 14 and October 5, 2021. Both conventional and organic bean sprouts as well as soy sprouts are voluntarily recalled. No other products are affected at this time as they are grown and packed in segregated departments.
Fullei Fresh conventional bean sprouts are sold in 5 lb bulk, 10 lb bulk and 8 oz retail packs. Organic bean sprouts are sold in 5 lb bulk and 4 oz retail packs. Soy sprouts are sold in 5 lb bulk and 10 lb bulk. The lot numbers are printed on the retail packs and on bulk cardboard boxes in the barcode (the last 3 digits.) Pictures are attached. Should you be in possession of these products, please discard.

August 17, 2021 from the OU:
Zeimatijos Pienas Reggianito Cheese, Zeimatijos Pienas, Mexico has an unauthorized OU:
The Orthodox Union does not certify Ziematijos Pienas Reggianito Cheese (made in Lithuania and sold in Mexico). Some 4.5 Kilo blocks of cheese are being sold with an Orthodox Union letter of certification stuck onto the wrapper. The certificate does not list this cheese as certified, and the use of the certificate on this cheese in not authorized. If you see this cheese being sold with an OU certificate, please provide details to kosherq@ou.org. Corrective actions are being implemented.

The potential risk was brought to McCormick’s attention by FDA during routine testing. This recall affects cases that were shipped of the affected date codes.
McCormick has alerted customers and grocery outlets to remove the product with the affected date codes from store shelves and distribution centers immediately, and to destroy this product in a manner that would prevent any further consumption
Consumers do not need to return the product to the store where it was purchased. Instead, consumers are urged to dispose of the recalled product and its container. Please contact McCormick Consumer Affairs at 1-800-635-2867, weekdays from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM (Eastern Time), for a replacement or full refund, and with general inquires.

The Orthodox Union does not certify Chocoa Crisp Strawberry Chocolate Pearls. Some containers were labeled with an unauthorized OU symbol. If you see this product in the marketplace, please provide details to kosherq@ou.org. Corrective actions are being implemented.
June 23, 2021: From the Kof-K in response to a question from the editor:
One batch of Tofutti BTCC non hydrogenated mistakenly bears an OU-D. It is actually certified as Kof-K Parve. Corrective action is being taken.
June 15, 2021: From the KVH:
CustomSeasonings of Gloucester,MA
is no longer certified due to Kashrus Violations.
Any current certificates are not valid;
All products, even when bearing the KVH symbol, are unauthorized and are be recalled from the market.
