Please be advised that Chef's Quality Assorted Rolls (RCA-128RD) containing Parmesan Rolls bear an unauthorized KVH symbol. The product is being removed from the shelves and new packaging will not have the KVH symbol on the boxes.

The following kashrus alert is from the OU on October 13, 2009.

Country White Bread Base (Industrial Item), Caravan Ingredients- Lenexa, KS: This bread product mistakenly bears an OU-Pareve designation and is not certified by the Orthodox Union due to its dairy content. Corrective action is being taken.

The following health alert is from the FDA-K on May 28, 2009.

Chang Farm, River Road, Whatley, MA is issuing a voluntary recall of Bean and Soy sprouts packaged in 10 lb bags (bulk) and 12 oz plastic bags (retail), labeled under the Chang Farm Brand as Soy Sprouts and have a "Sell By" date of May 23, 2009 or May 24, 2009 and Bean Sprouts with “Use By” date of May 23, 2009 or May 24, 2009 because of the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product has been distributed to retail stores and restaurants throughout MA, CT, NY and NJ. All grocery stores, food services, and other retailers who have this lot in MA, CT, NY and NJ should remove this product from their shelves. Consumers should discard this product or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers should contact their healthcare provider with any illness concerns. Consumers with questions about the warning may contact Chang Farm at 413-665-3341.

The following kashrus alert is from the Volover Raav on May 22, 2009.

This is to notify all Kashrus supervisory personnel, that fraudelent tapes were found by our Mashgichim at the Fish Processing company listed in the attached file. China Tape Fraud and China Winner Fraud.
The only frozen fish products currently certified by the Volover Ruv are "Shindler's Fish" and "Sea Castle".
Should you come across Frozen Fish products with our "Logo" on any other company name, please get in touch with the Volover Rav at once.

The following kashrus alert is from OK Kosher on April 28, 2009.

Please be advised that a fraudulent OK kosher certificate is being circulated for a product called Superfloc 2120 ostensibly produced by Kemira Chemicals UK Ltd.
Superfloc 2120 is NOT produced by Kemira Chemicals UK Ltd., amd is NOT certified by OK Kosher. The fraudulent certificate has been circulated in Latin America.
Bags of Superfloc 2120, Superfloc 2120PWG and Superfloc 2120 PWG SG do not bear the Kemira name or the OK symbol on the packaging. The OK requests that anyone who encounters the fraudulent certificate please contact the OK office at 718-756-7500 or info@ok.org.
