Please be advised that a limited number of display cases for Klein’s Naturals Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds sold at Costco were mistakenly labeled with an OK P symbol.
Individual product bags are correctly labeled with a plain OK symbol, kosher pareve for year round use.
September 18, 2019 from OK Kosher and the Star-K in response to the editor's question::
BMA USA, Inc. Oils, Vinegar, Van Nuys, CA 91406 has an unauthorized Use of Heart-K Kosher Symbol
Various BMA USA products are being sold bearing the Heart-K kosher symbol.
BMA USA has not been certified by OK Kosher since November 30, 2017.
Corrective actions are being taken.
Massimo Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil has an unauthorized Star-K P. It is not certified kosher or kosher for Passover by the Star-K.
THE ALERTS THAT ARE BELOW THIS ARE FROM PASSOVER 2019. SOME OF THESE PRODUCTS MIGHT BE AROUND DUE TO A LONG SHELF LIFE OR THE PROBLEMS INVOLVED ARE STILL RELEVENT.

A reader reported seeng Keglevich Vodka saying on the lable that it is Kosher for Passover. This product says on the label it is made from "pure grains'. If it is pure grain as claimed, it is pure chometz.
April 24, 2010 - info from the London Beth Din- The hashgocha said the alcohol is from Molasses. Whoever was in charge of the labels obviously did not notice the word grain on the front.

There is a social media image that is circulating about Jungle Island Miami Florida that includes a statement "Glatt Kosher OU P for Passover". This is an unauthorized use of the OU symbol. The Orthodox Union does not certify Jungle Island.

Espresso Club Decaffeinated Coffee Pods, Espresso Club Agura Hills, CA has an unauthorized OU P:
The Orthodox Union does not certify Espresso Club Decaffeinated Coffee pods as an OU P - Passover product. This product bears an unauthorized OU Kosher for Passover sticker. Corrective actions are being implemented.

PRE-WASHED PACKAGED ICEBERG LETTUCE SALAD and COLESLAW require Pesach approval due to the citric or lactic acid that may be used in the washing process. The following Pesach certified brands are available locally with a P after the Kosher symbol (next to the date code):

Status: Acceptable for Passover if it contains no sensitive additives
All fresh raw and pre-washed bagged Iceberg lettuce and other non-kitniyos vegetables such as whole carrots (regular and baby), shredded and sliced carrots, shredded cabbage and broccoli slaw are acceptable for Passover if they do not contain sensitive ingredients and are purchased before Pesach. The produce must be washed and checked for insects when applicable
