THE CHODOSH SEASON is approaching for Spring Wheat, Oats and Barley. Those who want to purchase Yoshon items to store over the Chodosh season should do so now. Please note that all grain and flour products that will be stored should be refrigerated to avoid insect infestation.
According to the Kashrus Agencies, all products can be assumed to be Yoshon until at least September 1, except for retail size bags of King Arthur and Gold Medal flours. The cut-off Best By date for King Arthur retail flours is 8/18/25. The cut-off Best By date for Gold Medal retail Whole Wheat flour is in the process of being confirmed. (Gold Medal retail All Purpose and Bread flours from plants GF and KC are made from Yoshon winter wheat. If one is machmir regarding shared
mills, the cut-off date is in the process of being confirmed.)

Altman Health Issues a Recall for Gummies C500
Barcode 7290019444152, Batch 2411438PSF, Expiration Date 01/07/2026, Manufacturer Top-Gum Industries Ltd. Testing conducted by Altman found several individual units that contain a product that does not correspond with the label.
The packages in which the mistake occurred contain the product Gummies Beauty, Barcode 7290017218281, which contains a combination of vitamins and minerals - Vitamin A, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid, biotin, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, zinc and iodine.
Consumers who purchased the above product can contact the consumer service hotline at *6505 or via email at altman@altman.co.il to receive alternate products.

The Manufacturer Eden Shir Sachar Ltd. Issues Recall of Halva Cookies. A Ministry of Health Food Services inspection found that the list of ingredients and allergens does not include any indication that the product contained a sesame allergen
Halva cookies with the expiration date, up to and including (best used before) 28/12/24
The company is asking consumers who are allergic to sesame and other allergens appearing on the label to not consume this product.
Eden Shir Sachar Ltd. is working to remove the product to correct the label and apologizes to its customers.
