Kashrut Alert: Tsar Nicoulai Caviar Gift Boxes

November 27, 2024 from the Star-K:

Gift packages sold by Tsar Nicoulai Caviar and marked "Blini" are mislabeled with the STAR-D symbol. The packages contain STAR-D certified Blini (Russian-style pancakes) along with jars of NON-KOSHER certified caviar and crème fraîche. 

Consumers should be aware that the STAR-D label on the box does not apply to the non-kosher products. Corrective action is being taken.
