  The Shor Habor brand, which was Lubavitch Shechita, and other AgriStar beef and poultry will no longer be under the certification of CHK, rabbis of the Crown Heights Beis Din.

• New “Kashrus Lubavitch” Will Certify AgriStar and Shor Habar Meats

  March 7, 2024 from the Collive:

  "3 Chabad rabbis heading a new kosher certification announced that they will be supervising the AgriStar meat plant and its Shor Habar brand, after CHK removed its ’Lubavitch shechita’ hechsher.

  "A new kosher certifying agency has been created and their first client is the AgriStar meat plant in Postville, Iowa which had just lost the certification of another agency.

  "Kashrus Lubavitch will be headed by Rabbi Shlomo Segal of Crown Heights, Rabbi Aharon Lieberman of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Rabbi Gedalia Oberlander of Kingston, Pennsylvania.

  "They said that they will be providing the “Lubavitch shechita” status on AgriStar and its Shor Habar label and meat and poultry used by Lubavitch chassidim and Chabad institutions around the country.

  "Overseeing the process will be Rabbi Yossi Deren serving as the head of the shochatim of beef (gasos) and Rabbi Nissim Ben Atar as the head of the shochatim for poultry (ofos).
