March 6, 2025: Leroux Liqueur has not been certified as kosher for quite a while. Old kosher product has tinted glass, the font of the word Leroux in one way, and diagonal shoulder. Bears on OU. Non-kosher product has clear bottle, different font, and round shulder, no OU.
August 31, 2023 from the OU:
Following the acquisition of the Leroux liqueur brand by Phillips Distilling Company, Leroux liqueurs will no longer be certified by the Orthodox Union and will not bear the OU symbol.
From the Dallas K: For those of you who like Leroux liquor this is bad news! Now is the time to stock up!
Products bearing the OU are still acceptable.
