April 18, 2023 from the editor:
Israeli grapefruits that are shmitta are being sold at Costco by Sunkist Grapefruit. Consumers need to check each bag or fruit if purchased separately to determine the country of origin of the fruit.
Currently, all citrus fruits from Israel until the next season in the fall are from Shemitah. Please consult your Rabbi.
