The following Kashrus alert is from the Vaad of Queens on January 28, 2009.
We have received many inquiries as to the Vaad's policy regarding the recent infestation of insects in raisins. We are only aware of infestation in Mishpacha and Gefen brand raisins. Our own investigation into the matter has shown that the infestation is limited to these two brands.
We will share with you more information as it becomes available.
